Welcome to my blog, where I delve into the depths of life, emotions, and reality. As I sit here, words fail to adequately capture the thoughts swirling in my mind. There is so much I want to express, yet I find myself unsure of where to begin. So, with that said, my apologies for the momentary lapse, and let me extend a warm welcome to you. Within these virtual pages, I strive to create a blog that is both simple and captivating. I can assure you that the content will pique your interest. Life, in all its unpredictable glory, has shown me its wondrous, enjoyable, and unfair sides. I have traversed the spectrum of love, encountered disappointment, weathered heartbreak, and faced loss.

Today, I feel compelled to share the story of my late father, who departed from this world in July 2021. It was an experience unlike any other, one that I had never encountered before. Often, we only realize the true significance of those we hold dear when they are no longer with us. The pain of his absence still lingers within me, even to this day. However, I draw strength from his words, which continue to guide me.

My father always reminded my siblings and me that every individual will eventually depart from this earthly realm, transcending to a better place where worldly worries cease to exist. Though the pain persists, his wisdom fuels my journey forward. I was writing my MSC dissertation when my dad left this world, it was a difficult time but I successfully completed my dissertation and graduated with a Distinction. He had always told me that whatever situation I find myself in life, I should never let situations I cannot control affect my goal in life. Apparently, he was preparing me for a day like that.

In this concise episode, the underlying moral lesson is clear: do not allow uncontrollable circumstances to dictate or dominate your ambitions, goals, and determination. Instead, forge ahead, resilient and unwavering. Embrace your inner strength, knowing that time itself possesses a remarkable ability to heal.

I love how you write and this is quite insightful. I lost my dad recently too and honestly there are no words for the grief and the deep feeling of empitiness but I just hold on to the memories and with the hope that he’s proud of me where he is and smiling down at me. I look forward to more of your posts.🫶

    Quite a reminiscence of note.
You captured the feeling of loss so effectively that those with fathers would appreciate the gem a Lot.
I lost my father way back on July 1st 1986.i still feel his absence. A man of wisdom from a theocratic background, his statements included; ti ina re ba njo, ki o fi Jo nkan. Every opportunity should be harnessed. Don’t envy, do as you will accept, etc. May his soul continue to rest on.
You have started on a sound foundation, I wish you well and more success in your endeavours.
